Released in 2006, CONSEQUENCE OF CHAOS presents veteran jazz guitarist Al DiMeola performing a set of 15 original compositions, ranging from the delicate but funky "San Marco (Moderna)" to the jaunty, samba-like "Red Moon" to the frenetic "Tempest," all of which showcase DiMeola's amazingly agile six-string work. In addition to his regular backing band, DiMeola is assisted by Chick Corea (keyboards), Steve Gadd (drums), and other fellow fusion luminaries, resulting in one of his finest latter-day recordings.
