Notes: Issued in early 2007, this third installment of CRUNK HITS features many of the raucous hip-hop style's best-known names, including David Banner (the shuffling "Play"), Three 6 Mafia (the hard-hitting "Poppin' My Collar"), and, of course, the reigning king of crunk, Lil Jon (who joins Tyrese on the smooth "Turn Ya Out"). While some selections fall a bit outside of the "crunk" category (the Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha," Chris Brown's "Run It!"), the collection is inarguably an excellent mix of get-low dance-floor anthems.
