Notes: One of H-Town's hottest commercial artists, Slim Thug stays on the grind with another mixtape release showcasing his crew, the Boss Hog Outlawz. Slim Thug and the fellas come hard out of the gate, with a wicked reworking of 2Pac and company's classic Thug Life anthem "Str8 Ballin'." Production and rhyme styles range from hyped-up bounce to laid-back gangsta funk. Slim himself holds center stage, appearing on nine tracks, while a few Hoggs get ample time to shine, particularly C Ward, PJ, and Young Black, whose solo cut, "I'm Fresh," sets him apart as the group's tightest MC.
