In a variety of recordings taken from radio transcriptions, Atkins backs the Carter sisters on country novelty songs, such as "You Made Toothpicks of the Timber of My Heart" and "Take a Tater and Wait" (both featuring a young June Carter), and performs solo on some memorable instrumentals, including "When You and I Was Young, Maggie" and "I've Been Working on the Railroad."
