The songs have more fleshed-out instrumentation, light rootsy arrangements, and bright tempos, which sometimes belie the dark nature of the lyrics, where battles between fleeting pleasures and lasting pains: minor victories and disastrous failures are perpetual. Another classic by a man who seemingly spits out great songs at will.
