The keys are attached to the keyboard via two plastic pieces that interlock in a "scissor"-like fashion, and snap to the keyboard and the key. This design is typical to laptops and notebooks for a noise free typing.

Power saving switch and easy connect button - The keyboard goes to sleep mode after 5 minutes if not used and a new feature is the power On/Off switch, which allows users to switch power off while away from their desk, saving battery life for extended use.
