There's a built-in cassette Recorder with a built-in Microphone - great for Recording lectures and seminars (cassette tapes are not included). An AM/FM radio is built-in for your pick of music, talk, and news. You can even record directly from the radio onto the cassette recorder. The CX244 has a Dual-volt power supply which means you can take it on trips to other countries. All you need are Optional plug adapters. Friends may be difficult to get but the CX244 is a good companion when needed.
