My best friend from high school and I have been patrons of J&R since we began seriously collecting music in 1988. My father shopped there for all the family stereo components, so it was where I bought my first stereo just before I went off to college. Although I don't live in New York anymore, I go to J&R with my old friend every year around Christmas when I visit family.
