The Motorola DTR410 Digital On-site two-way radio presents a better way for small businesses to communicate. It also offers enhanced performance with wide coverage, longer Battery life and clear, crisp audio. Digital one-to-many calling networks with other DTR radios on the same group ID and channel, for enhanced compatibility.

Analog on-site radios offer only one-to-many group communications, while digital on-site radios are capable of one-to-one as well as one-to-many. Digital radios offer enhanced capabilities due to their ability to transmit and receive Data as well as voice. The DTR410 Digital On-Site two-way radios operate on the 900 MHz ISM frequency band, which does not require a FCC license. DTR410 digital on-site radios operate on the ISM band and are not compatible with existing 900 MHz analog radios.

The DTR410 Radio uses a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that delivers up to 14.5 hours of operation based on a 5% transmit, 5% receive, 90% standby Duty cycle (Optional high capacity rechargeable battery provides up to 19 hours of battery life per full charge).

The radio is equipped with 12 alert tones that can be assigned to different entries in the contact list while in Programming mode.

DTR410 radios ship pre-programmed with 5 Public Groups using Group ID's 1 - 5 on Channel 1. This can be changed to another of the 100 Group IDs and 10 Channels in order to provide non-overlapping communication groups or to minimize the chance of interference. Additionally, for even greater privacy, Private Groups can be created that require radios to have a unique 11-digit Group ID in order to receive transmissions.
