This tapeless camcorder features a 12x Optical Zoom lens, Optical Image stabilizer (OIS), and a newly developed 1/4.1-inch, 3.05-megapixel (approx. 2-megapixels/effective image pixels), progressive 3MOS. It records using AVCHD Compression to capture superior quality at twice the compression efficiency of MPEG2. Its exclusive PH mode allows exceptional quality recordings at a higher Bit rate (max. 24 Mbps). Thanks to its Cine-Like gamma function, the HD multi-format unit that supports 23.98p/29.97p recording.
