In a rare, stripped-down recording featuring just his voice and guitar, Gil displays his vocal and instrumental mastery on a set of subtle, sophisticated songs such as "Retiros Espirituais" and the jazzy "Superhomem--A Cancao" that need no translation to be fully appreciated.
