Every wireless system consists of at least two components—a transmitter and a receiver, both of which must be tuned to the same Channel (that is, the same radio frequency) in order to operate correctly. With regard to the purchase of this receiver, you need a compatible wireless transmitter of the same channel (not included with this purchase). The nice thing is that you can connect any mic to the transmitter for wireless VHF transfer to this receiver. You can also do a direct guitar connection using the Samson GC5 cable with an optional compatible beltpack transmitter.
