Simon would not have known this, but, this purchase had become somewhat of a laugh among family and friends as it has taken me many months to make up my mind.
What do I get? Should I spend the money? What if it is not what I expected?
So while an ordinary day to Simon, this was a big event for me.

As I told Simon, J&R was not the lowest price on the camera or accessories.
But there is great value to excellent customer service, something well worth it to me.
There is also great value to J&R as I will return for my future needs.

10/21/03 1:42 PM Just ordered and purchased an Olympus C-750 and AC adapter.
Spent 2-3 weeks talking and emailing to dealers all over the country.
Came back to JandR--had previously purchased a Canon Elan 7E.
I can't say enough good things about them and in particular Alex, my rep.
Everything-- and I mean everything--went perfect!!
Price was the best, shipping the lowest--so low in fact that I had them ship it two day air for $10 extra.
Packing was as it should be. Camera arrived exactly on time and a tracking email was sent me on day of shipping.
I ordered at 2PM CST and it went out at 6PM EST...fast!!
Best of all package included RM-1 remote which many sellers are NOT including--this is a $25-30 option for them.
This was the quintissential transaction and Alex is an intelligent and very effective communicator.
Kudos to J&R and Alex. When it's great, say so!!!..and I am one careful and fussy buyer in my old age.

I just wanted to let you know that I've just dealt with 'John at ext. 1045' and found him to be absolutely the best telephone sales rep I've dealt with in some time.
He was able to dig into your systems and find answers to questions I had that I could not find the on the jr.com website, and he was very adept at the whole process of executing my order and dealing with my J&R gift card, etc.
All in all, a great experience - Kudos to John!
